If you've been toiling away creating a secret garden, and you are bursting with pride and an urge to share your particular genius, please let us know!
Drop us an email with the subject line "My Secret Garden" and the committee will be in touch to set up an appointment to see your garden (usually late July through mid-September).
Four Seasons Garden Club would like to thank the Kenosha community and local businesses for supporting our 2019 "Secret Garden Walk" in July. How grateful we are to be part of such a supportive community! This event is our largest fund-raiser with the proceeds used to fulfill our mission. Since 1963, our club has worked to stimulate an interest in flower arranging, gardening, civic beautification, and conservation. Funds raised support scholarships to horticulture students, the Margaret Myers Memorial Garden at Kemper Center, land preservation at Chiwaukee Prairie, Arbor Day plantings at local schools, grants to the St. Matthew’s Lakefront ElderGarten and many other community projects.
To the homeowners and gardeners who so graciously displayed your gardens to the public, “Thank You” for your efforts, boundless creativity and hospitality in welcoming hundreds of residents to your home. We thank the following garden owners for sharing their properties: Dale Van Vlissingen, Pat and Jodie Cascio, Kris and Randy Rich, Ruth and Tom Clark, Heather Carnevale, Liz and Paul Dutton. Pat Haun and Belinda Grantham.
A special “Thank You” to Pam Holy, President of the volunteer-led Chiwaukee Prairie Preservation Fund for her efforts in welcoming the public to the prairie.
We also thank the local businesses who assisted us with materials, publicity and the sale of tickets. We especially thank the Kenosha News who once again provided wonderful photo coverage which helped to inform the public about our event. Thanks to Greg Berg, host of "The Morning Show" on WGTD Radio, and the Kenosha Visitors Bureau for the promotion of our event as well.
Most of all, we thank the members of our community who purchased tickets to view the gardens.
Each year we seek gardens for our tour. If you are interested in displaying your garden in the future, please contact us.
