Pottery Make & Take

Thursday, October 12, 2017  •  5:00 PM
Location: Alpaca Art, 5813 6th Avenue.

Members will paint a selected piece of pottery. If you can not make it until 6 pm, the staff will catch you up when you arrive.

Cost: $15-20 per person.

Business meeting to follow at 7:15 pm at Nan Mellem's home—address in the yearbook.


What's Blooming at the Gallery

Thursday, November 9, 2017  •  6:30 p.m.

Elizabeth Dary, Fiber Artist, Lemon Street Gallery will give a presentation on Lemon Street Gallery's community projects involving are and gardening. Members will learn where some of our garden bounty has taken root over the years.

This program is open to the public.

Aquaponics Make & Take

Thursday, February 8, 2018  •  6:30 PM
Ron Stark, Hoyer Homestead, will walk members through the steps of assembling an aquaponics garden. Some materials will be provided for a fee. Pre-registration is requested so Ron can provide adequate materials for all participants. Contact Nan Mellem to let her know if you will be participating. This is a "by invitation" event if you would like to participate since pre-registration is requested. It is open to the public if you would like to attend and see how it is done.


Using Essential Oils in the Garden

Heavenly Hydrangeas

Laurie McGhee from Mariani Plants will be speaking on the care and keeping of hydrangeas. There are so many lovely varieties now, and she will surely answer any questions about hydrangeas. This program is open to the public.
