Holiday Make 'n' Take

Tracy from Burlington Garden Center will lead us through a project utilizing air plants. $12/person (more for additional materials if you choose), register in advance.

That Thorny Subject

Doug Amon will discuss the care and keeping of roses. Doug has a beautiful rose garden of over 400 roses in Delavan, WI. He will be speaking and showing pictures of his roses. In his personable way, he will talk about how his garden formed and answer any and all questions members have about roses. His garden is called Stop and Smell the Roses and is free for all to come and see. stopnsmelltheroses.org


Garden Design

Page Hunter from L.A. Townline Design will be speaking on garden design and how to approach the design process. She is a licensed landscape architect and owner of a design/build firm. She has been in the trade for 35 years and favors sustainable and native landscapes.


Perennials

Thursday, April 13, 2017  •  6:30 PM

Laurie McGhee from Mariani Plants will be speaking on planting for a season of color; and picking perennials for a sequence of blooms, color, and seasonal interest. She is also willing to answer any questions about perennials.


Chiwaukee Prairie

Thursday, May 11, 2017  •  6:30 PM

Pam Holy from Chiwaukee Prairie will talk about the history of the prairie, plants and the transition it has gone through. She will also speak about issues in the prairie and our local area. Solutions they are applying and how we can help at the prairie and at home.

Secret Garden Walk Preview Tour

Short business meeting to follow at Pat Leiting's house starting promptly at 8 PM, so budget your preview time accordingly.  Garden Club Members: Please bring any unsold tickets to the meeting.
